New Project Award: Software for Hazardous Areas

MODEC Senegal S.A.S.U has recently awarded Goree Offshore Engineering a 3 + 3 year contract to design and maintain cloud-based software to track and support field inspections of equipment installed in hazardous (explosive) areas of the Sangomar FPSO.

The scope also includes RFID configuration, project data integration and provision of trained crew to perform associated periodic offshore inspections.

Work which has already commenced on the FPSO at Keppel Offshore & Marine Ltd.’s Tuas Shipyard in Singapore, will be performed in partnership with SafeEx, a leading inspection and maintenance technology company headquartered in Denmark.
